Kira Brady writes apocalyptic paranormal romance set in a grisly modern day Seattle. Her trilogy debuts August 2012 from Kensington Publishing. Her writing has won a number of romance writing awards, including the Orange Rose, the Maggie, the Marlene, and the Golden Gateway.
Kira spent her childhood in Seattle, where, if you hadn’t heard, it rains. A lot. Not surprisingly, she spent much of her childhood wrapped up with a book and a mug of something hot. She holds a bachelor of arts from the University of Pennsylvania, where it didn’t rain nearly enough to her liking. She returned to the sunless Pacific Northwest as soon as she could with Prince Charming in tow. Prince Charming, fortunately, is fond of mountaineering and computers. He fits right in. When not writing, Kira can be found drinking inordinately large mugs of Assam tea, knitting wool socks, and raising wee heroines-in-training.
